If you’ve been on Twitter for the past couple of months and following your favourite producers, bloggers, and artists, you may have been seeing the hashtag #JayZInterview. Well like many of you, I thought this was an interview with Jay-Z or even a compilation of artists giving their thoughts on Jay-Z. It’s none of the above. Jay-Z Interview is actually a hip-hop record from producer turned rapper Hit-Boy! We’ve witnessed Jay-Z mentoring Kanye West from his transition to a super rapper, and we are seeing it all over again with Hit-Boy. Signed to West’s G.O.O.D. Music label, Hit-Boy has creating chart-topping hits like ‘Niggas In Paris’ and now we find out that he can get on the mic and spit hard rhymes. Produced by B!nk, Hit-Boy raps about his amazing lifestyle and everyone in it. Real question is, does Hit-Boy have what it takes to become the next Kanye West? Or, should Hit-Boy just stick to making beats?
