[GOODS] Google Shows Of Their Tablet, The Google Nexus 7
June 28, 2012
One of the most powerful companies ever, Google had their Google I/O (Input/Output) 2012 developers conference in San Francisco and on the first day they announced the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, Google Glass, and the Google Nexus 7 tablet. I am really excited for Google Glass but I was really surprised on how damn good the Google Nexus 7 tablet is! I think that 2011 and 2012 was a soft introduction for tablets, but now as we get closer to 2013 I feel like there will be a tablet in just about every home. Let’s face it, Apple is the only one dominating the tablet world, but with Microsoft Surface, Kindle Fire (hopefully they will release around the world soon!), and now Google Nexus 7 coming out, there will be tough competition.
The Google Nexus 7, built by ASUS, will have a 7-inch with 1280×800 (720p HD) scratch resistant screen. Packed inside, it has a 1.3Ghz quad-core CPU, 12-core Tegra 3 processor, NFC (Near Field Communication), 1 GB of RAM, 1.2MP front-facing camera, with a battery life that can last you up too (only) 8 hours. The Google Nexus 7 only weighs 340 grams and measures 198.5 x 120 x 10.45mm thin! It also has a rubber back that feels soft and has a great grip. The Google Nexus 7 will also have the newest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS installed. What’s really awesome about all this, is the price! The 8GB model will only cost $200 while the 16GB will cost you $250. So it’s basically a direct competitor to the Kindle Fire and other smaller tablets.
I love how the Google Nexus 7 tablet is thin, light, super portable, and affordable. It doesn’t cost you $500 and over for all those amazing specs and features. If you live in Canada, USA, UK, or Australia, you can pre-order the Google Nexus 7 today only on Google Play and expect to receive your tablet in mid July!
If you have been holding out on a tablet, then the Google Nexus 7 is the one to buy! As you can tell by this post I am excited for this one! Now Google, shut up and take my money!
