[GOODS] Apple OS X Mountain Lion
February 17, 2012
Well, that was quick! The team at Apple have already been working on Mac’s next operating system, the Mountain Lion, which apparently is coming out this summer. The iPod and iPad have been a huge success and it’s because of their user system. Anyone can pick up an iPad and they will already know how to use it at any age. Apple took something that’s already successful and put it onto the Mac.
The features that are coming to the new Mac OS X Mountain Lion are Messages, Reminders, Notes, Notifications Centre, Share Sheets, Twitter, Game Centre, Airplay Mirroring, and Gatekeeper. So if you already own an iPhone or iPad these features will be right at home.
I won’t be going through the features because everything is self explanatory. But it’s pretty cool that you will be able to send Messages to all iOS devices. I also like the fact that the Notifications Centre will be on the Mac. All your new messages, emails, and system updates will now be together, clean and simple.
Personally, I don’t think this a big update or anything exciting. Instead of releasing a brand new OS with basic apps, Apple should just release this as a free system update, rather then making people pay.
