[FASHION] Nail Your Summer Colours
April 18, 2012
Summer is right around the corner and you know what that means. Time to put away your dark colours and neutral wools and pull out your bright summer vibes. What better way to express yourself than through your fingers nails. Standard hygene practice is to keep your nails short kept and polished. Rather than doing the same old boring thing why not add some fun, colour and design to spice up your look.
I went on a nail polish frenzy the other day and purchased a bunch of different colours to assist me in my efforts in having summer come sooner. The colours that I picked up are a few that I recommend and are highly recommended for the upcoming season.
Geranium – by Essie is a vibrant red that stands out. Not too deep of a red where it seems out of season but very rich in colour.
Tart Deco – by EssieĀ a pinkish peach. This colour is far from transparent and by the second coat will be a great solid summer colour that acts as a neutral and will go with just about everything.
Turned Up Turquoise – by China Glaze is a very bright blue/green that will make a statement. The colour is so rich after painting your nails with with this your fingertips will easily act as an accessory to whatever else you have on.
Hope you enjoy the colours and enjoy painting! If you have any summer nail polish suggestions we’d love to try them out. Leave your suggestions in the comment section.
